That Which Gets Tracked Gets Done


It was 2012 and it was our best year ever at the business I previously owned. Just like when you are driving a car, you have three or four key metrics your car dashboard monitors for you. What are you tracking?


Looking back to what we did that year that I think helped tremendously is we tracked how much revenue we did everyday in an Excel spreadsheet along with some other key metrics like CPC spend, traffic, etc.


I think that was a huge part of our success. It got all our employees attention and it created a focus within my company.


Find a few metrics that will help your company grow and thrive. Measure them daily or even weekly or monthly if daily is not possible. Then see how your business is doing and how much it is improving.
